I really like hwo you included great information and you also included some photo's as well! Great choice!

This reminds me of when I did this but I chose my mother as my role model because she is my role model and I look up to her.

I think taht to improve, maybe you could proof read beacuse you had a quite a few mistakes throughout your blog post!

Are there any other people ou look up to?

    Awesome work!

  2. Hi Olivia!

You've included a ton of great information about Taylor Swift here, and your poster is beautifully made! You clearly have quite a talent for graphic design. I've found that the website Piktochart can also be quite useful for making things such as posters if you're keen on giving that a go at some point. How did you make this poster? It looks very professional!

Wow, from how you've described Taylor Swift, it seems like she is a very genuine person - doesn't like getting caught up in the drama. I like that. I don't know a whole lot about her if I'm being honest (so this post was very informative!) but I listened to a lot of her music when I was younger. Would you ever consider being a singer or a musician of some sort?

She seems like an awesome role model. You could try embedding a video or two off of Youtube if you were looking for a way to make your post even more intriguing. For example, in this case you could include a clip from one of Taylor's concerts, or one of her music videos. Just something to keep in mind for next time :)

One of my biggest role models is one of my teachers. Sounds like a slight cliche, but he really helped me start to believe in myself. In terms of celebrities, however, I'd say one would have to be Zack Merrick. He's a bassist in a band I grew up listening to pretty much daily - I'm an aspiring bass player :)

Have you ever been to a Taylor Swift concert? Concerts are incredible I really wish there were more held here in Christchurch, it'd be much easier and less expensive than travelling to Auckland.

This is an amazing post, Olivia, I can't wait to see what you write and create next! Have an awesome night and I hope to hear from you soon (remember, the more comments you reply to, the more points you earn!). Until next time :)

  3. Mōrena Olivia!

My name is Mikey and I work with Emma and Gabe on the Summer Learning Journey programme. Congratulations on completing another activity! You've done an awesome job with this one - the presentation is amazing! :)

While I'm here I just wanted to let you know that there's only one week left of the Summer Learning Journey. You've shared some great posts so far but I've noticed that you haven't been as active recently. There's still plenty of time to jump back online before the programme finishes next Friday (January 24th) and have a go at some of the activities you haven't done yet - Emma, Gabe and I would love to read them. :)

Have a fantastic day, Olivia. I do hope I'll be seeing some new SLJ posts from you soon. :)

    Mā te wā,

    Mikey

  4. Hi Olivia,

Taylor Swift is a pretty good role model eh?! I think it is interesting that you chose her. I went to her concert in 2018 and she was amazing. She does stand up to bully's and people that say mean things. This can be hard to do sometimes. I know that you are good at doing this too and you try and be kind to others. I read a quote today that said "be a giver of good". Maybe that could be your aim this year?

Keep up the great SLJ blogging. Only a few days left.

    :) Mrs Spragg
